According to a recent article by the Christian Monitor, a significant number of black youths in the United States believe they are treated worse than immigrants.   The Black Youth Project, created out of the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration, aims to become a one-stop shop for young African-Americans (the target age group is  15-17) and those who share their concerns.

Weekly blogs cover topics such as the portrayal of blacks in the media, gender, violence, and the current healthcare debate.
